I must admit, i hated it when DJ Ashba was chosen to be Robin's replacement. Now i think he's awesome, great stage presence, he's huge up there. Love Bumblefoot for example, but he's the typical "Over-skilled" virtuoso guitarist  who stays there on his spot and doesnt move much, kinda like Buckethead but with a soul.

On a different note, it's sad to read some misconceptions regarding the band. Reading those comments on youtube there's a guy saying:  "This band needs 2 guitar players to do one solo that slash could play easily" - referring to the last SCOM solo .
People just don't get it... Skill is probably the least important factor when it comes to guitar playing, having 2 guitarists playing one solo is a choice of camaraderie.
I play guitar since i was 14 years old, when i was 17 i could already play SCOM solo by myself with perfection. For an artist what counts is CREATIVITY, if there's a reason to miss Slash, that is it. Like Axl admitted himself, back in 1999(wow 11 years ago already), what prevented him from doing a classical rock record was the absence of Slash.
