Usually I wouldn't believe this kind of news, but since the source is a Croatian newspaper, it must be true.

And it would make sence for a rhythm player to replace a lead guitarist

Robin is easily replaceable

Izzy left GNR right before the UYI release, Robin is doing the same. The only difference is that CD is not coming out.

marilyn manson is scum  he's not a rockband. KISS is the past. not the present. DLR  live era doesn't count. wasn't an original album of new material. chinese democracy doesn't count either. it's not even officially said to be turned in to the record company by the record company. since it's yet to be released too it doesn't count either. if  Axl was smart, he would erase that traitor's parts and have  robin record them over  guns
