Best Buy has listed the tracks of the new album on their website, while i am really excited to hear a final version of “Catcher”(assuming that is the old ‘Catcher in the Reye’), it is kind of weird to realise that we have heard most of the songs already.

Chinese Democracy, the album Axl Rose has labored over for more than a decade, will finally hit stores on Sunday, November 23rd (a departure from the normal Tuesday record release day). The album will be sold exclusively in Best Buy stores and online at Bestbuy.com and iTunes.

I'm guessing that "Street Of Dreams" is a new title for "The Blues" since that phrase shows up in the song.

I always predicted that we'd only get a couple of songs we'd never heard before and I totally called it. "This I Love", "Sorry" and "Scraped" are the only unleaked songs. We really did open all our Christmas presents early, as Bumblefoot put it.

Nevertheless, I'm thrilled that there's unheard material, I'm ecstatic that we'll all finally own finished versions of these songs, and I'm waiting to see how the world reacts.

And maybe new song #2 is one of those unknown songs.

But if Catcher is CITR, I'm happy we finally get a quality version of it. I love that song. I hope Brian May is still on it.

If I read the bigger boards, there is still a big discussion about it. I'm not convinced either. It could be though.

Well, hopefully we now in less then 2 months.

That's what I thought until a few weeks ago, when I had it pointed out to me that the word Prostitute is in the lyrics for Song #2.

Looks like these 14 tracks will come close the 80 minutes that CDs allow, just like the Use Your Illusion albums. Smiley

this is how  queenie thinks the tracklist should be:

1. there was a time
2. prostitute
3. this i love
4. scraped
5. sorry
6. catcher
7. better
8. madagascar
9. street of dreas
10. irs
11. chinese democracy
12. bedouins
13. if the world
14. shackler's revenge

queenie 's reason: u want ur "big guns" to carry the album right from the top. never mix them with "toy pistols." put them together in such a way, the b-sides after them become listenable. think "commercial" not "small." you want the listener to be "interested." putting "prostitute" "there was a time" "scraped" "this i love" "catcher" and "sorry" together keeps interest and makes the listener want to listen to the rest of the album. that's album success. the way tracklist's r made in the music industry for millions . . .  Awesome

It wouldn't make sense to put Chinese Democracy in the middle with that intro.

Not really, people buy the album no matter what the order of songs is. The only thing that can push the album up is promotion and a good choice for a single.

But okay, Axl listened to you. He just announced he's going to change the order of the tracklist. The release of the album is delayed till further notice.

changing the tracklist will not delay the album. not a major issue. my tracklist is the best tracklist for cd. you have the best songs right off the bat. after that, you have the middle of the pack songs. that's how an album is made. success. album quality. the current tracklist is the wrong order. doesn't work. doesn't flow. there's no flow. mine flows . . .
