Tommy Stinson: "Something Happening In Few Weeks" With GnR

Tommy says GnR is going back out to play some more shows, and some big shows and announcements are coming within the next few weeks.

He also said that replacing Robin Finck with DJ Ashba was a great decision because now they "no longer have any adversaries within the band" and that they're now getting along better than they ever have.

wtf? tommy doesn't know he's talking about. gnr was at their best live and in the studio with "chinese democracy" when robin finck was in the band. dj ashba is a punk. who trashes robin's solos including robin's EPIC "TIL" solo live every night. what is tommy talking about?   tommy

He's talking about Robin creating conflicts with everyone else and holding them back. Tommy made it very clear that without Robin everyone is now getting along and working together, especially Axl.

if tommy had a better idea, he'd give credit where is still due on robin's chinese democracy work with songs like better, Street of Dreams, TWAT, IRS, chinese democracy, if the world, and TIL

Tommy does give it where its due. Robin only has credits for two songs and the rest he laid down only a few solos. Axl, Buckethead, Paul Tobias, and Tommy wrote most of the stuff on the album.

what are you talking about? the highlights of chinese democracy come from robin finck. not tommy or dj ashba. not bumblefoot. robin finck is the hightlight reel on cd. tommy doesn't give robin the credit he deserves. neither does axl. in fact, when axl did TIL live early, he didn't talk about robin's contributions to the song. or the hours and years robin spent in the studio sweating his butt off makin the TIL solo. which is EPIC. instead, axl talks about "a stupid wind part." well. that's stupid. axl is lost. coping out releasin the next cd record with robin for more cash grab shows. tommy is lost in the shadows, forgetting his friendship with robin and how tight they were together on stage for years. robin deserves big time cd credit.
