in 2006, axl was killer shape. didn't forget words. was at his best as a live performer. robin finck made the hired hands cool. robin and tommy. slash didn't have the charisma robin has. duff doesn't have the same for tommy. axl had more chemistry on stage with robin than slash. 2006 is the proof. so is 2002. and even 2001. this is guns n roses

You CLEARLY have NEVER watched any old GN'R footage. Slash and Axl had way more chemistry. All Robin was to Axl was a hired gun. Axl was in even better shape in 1987. His voice was way better and he didn't forget the lyrics then either. Without Duff, a lot of the old songs wouldn't have the creative bass-lines that they have. Duff is a guitarist as well as a bassist, so he knows more about melody than Tommy does. Plus, more people know of Duff and love him than they do Tommy. AFD line-up is Guns N' Roses because the five of them MADE that band together. They didn't need any more than each other. No fancy production, synthesizers, etc.

epic production like november rain made guns n roses better live. the infusion of the better drummer matt sorum and the first hired gun gilby clarke. made guns n roses better. a bigger production. add another hired gun dizzy reed and you have epic greatness. a whole new level. adler was a basic drummer. matt sorum is skilled. robin finck is a true talent. professional. slash tried to be jimmy page. tommy is the stage general. leads the way. duff isn't a leader on stage with others. 2006 was axl's best shape. best voice. his last prime before the cd finally came out. too bad this wasn't taken advantage of commercially for promotion and fame in america. or on MTV. look at chinese democracy. makes appetite dated. this i love, there was a time, better, prostitute, all surpass appetite miles and miles. robin's til solo is mind blowing. blows away slash's sweet child solo. axl never sang better on a song than he does on there was a time. axl best vocals. axl at his best singing a melody. singing a tune. axl wasn't like this in 1987. but this wasn't capitalized on in 2006 or 2008 with the album finally out. was capitalized on in 87 with appetite. and 91 with illusions. wasn't capitalized with chinese demoracy. but the proof is clear. axl is at his all time best in 2006 with robin finck and tommy stinson. this is guns n roses

did you see the 2006 gnr rock in rio vids i posted? they show the electric chemistry between axl and robin. chemistry axl and slash didn't have on stage live. shows the axl/robin/tommy dynamic. a dynamic that wasn't there with slash and duff live. robin proved himself in the studio with the EPIC mind blowing TIL solo. tommy proved himself with bass on the chinese democracy tracks. tommy is the leader on stage. was duff a leader? was slash? robin is true talent. is slash? slash tried to copy the classic 70's guitarists. robin is original this is guns n roses

slash wanted to be keith and page. that's not cool. robin is cool. look at robin's solo at 2006 new jersey show. it's the most raw solo i ever see and hear live. slash can't top it. TIL is the amazing riff. not scom or nr. robin breaks new ground on the EPIC TIL and Better and TWAT and SOD riffs. robin makes history with chinese democracy. slash is dated like keith.

as for dj ashba. he takes his hands off the guitar. to show off in fron of fans. during the middle of a song. that's not cool either. that's a joke. robin doesn't do that. robin is true professional. robin is dedicated to the craft and art of guitar. dj is in it for the money...
