Pretty much. That's another reason I like Ashba better. He does have talent and he does give a fuck.

if ashba gave a fuck..ashba wouldn't fuck up robin's epic TIL solo every fucking time live

I don't think he fucks it up. I honestly think he's trying to play it his way. I don't think he wants to just play everything as it sounds in the studio because that would be boring. Trying to freshen things up with a song that's 16 years old shows that Ashba gives a fuck.

Finck cheated himself(and GNR) out of fame and fortune. He left the band on his own and instead of helping Axl get ready to promote Chinese Democracy, he was partying with NIN groupies. Hell, Finck hasn't even made a comment about GNR or Chinese Democracy since he's left, as far as I know. This proves he doesn't give a fuck.

THIS.

Robin Finck abandoned GnR just as the album was coming out, without giving Axl or anyone else in the band any warning. Why? For a Nine Inch Nails anniversary tour. The band couldn't tour without him, and everyone in the band has said repeatedly that he never gave them confirmation of whether he was treating NIN as a side project or if he was actually leaving Guns N' Roses.

All this time, instead of treating GnR or it's fans with some respect by simply stating what the fuck he was doing, he's been out on cash grab NIN tours and fucking around at industry parties.

Have recent NIN albums been more successful? Who's to say CD wouldn't have been successful if Robin didn't leave and instead did a full promotion/videos with Guns N' Roses in 2008?

Yeah, really. I'm starting to believe more and more that Chinese Democracy flopping is more the fault of Robin than Axl. I think in this case, Axl was a victim of circumstance and got the blame just because it was easy for it to be put on him.

NIN had a ton of success with their recent output, especially without the labels taking a cut of the money. And that Downward Spiral reunion tour was huge.

I think Axl could have done a lot of damage control with some interviews and public appearances, but I can definitely understand how he wouldn't want to talk at length about having no idea what was going on with his own band.

I figure the way Axl was thinking, he figured if he went out and did any interviews, people would have kept pressing those issues on him and he wouldn't have had any good answers for them. At that point, more blame would be thrown on him for ruining things.
